Close to the lake
Snow reaches some of these towns before others
The bands off Lake Erie settle hardest along the shore and the hills behind it. We plan the same list of protections in every town, and add more where a roof sits in the path.
On the shore
Erie, Harborcreek, Lawrence Park and North East see the wind and the first of the snow.
In the hills
Edinboro, Wattsburg and Corry sit higher, where the snow stays on the roof longer.
Down the valley
Cambridge Springs and Meadville see less lake snow but just as many old roofs.
